WHEN OUR HEALING JOURNEY TURNS INTO US TRYING TO "FIX OURSELVES"
I gave a session to one of my beloved clients yesterday and was reminded how much our intention for our healing work matters. There is this very common trap, where we find ourselves seeing this work as this tedious thing we have to get done. It becomes all about fixing ourselves, deeply rooted in believing we have to change in order to get what we want. I am a firm believer that our inner worlds mirror our external reality, but when we approach the work from this heavy self rejecting place it can feel like there are a million opposing parts in us, endless amounts of traumas we have to work through and way too many blockages that make it so that we will never get what we want.
I DEEPLY LOVE THIS WORK, I FIND IT DEEPLY EMPOWERING AND HEALING YET IF WE COME FROM THIS PLACE OF RESISTING WHO WE ARE RIGHT NOW WITH ALL THAT IS INSIDE OF US WE WON'T GET THAT FAR.
Funnily the biggest blockage of all is the belief that we are blocked, it's the belief that we are so messed up and only by fixing and healing oursleves we will get what we want. It's so painful to approach this work with a selfhating additude, coming from inner children that we're taught since an early age that they are not acceptable, not enough and not lovable. If you have a part like this inside of you - I'd like to say something: "Even if you you never heal or change, you still deserve unconditional love. Even if you can't figure it all out, you still deserve everything you want. Even if you feel broken and split on the inside, things can still manifest".
At the end of the day it's about our inner beliefs being mirrored in the external, so why not adopt the belief that you dont have to change and still get what you want? Or the belief that you can be split as fuck and still get what you desire ? I know its provoking but I think this can be deeply healing for this wounded part in us and for the heaviness many carry arround. You deserve to experience good things coming, and you don't have to work for it. You deserve to just receive.
So this is just a little reminder for you to explore when and if you are doing this healing work from a place of selfhate and critism and when it's flowing from a genuine place.
